Beach Day at La Jolla Shores with our family + Grandpa Ron, Grandma Barbara, Aunt Becca, Cousin Joshua, Cousin Jared and friend CT.

It was so fun and such a beautiful day to all be together on the beach.

May 5 - Joshua and Julia at the Park

While the ladies were all at the Baby Shower, Dad and Riley took Julia and Joshua (Becca Skagg's baby boy) to a nearby park.  They had tons of fun.  I can see that they are going to be great cousins and friends as they grow older!!!  Here are some pictures that Riley took:

I am so grateful to be a mother.  It is the best job in the world!

I am grateful for my mother.  She is seriously the world's greatest!

I am grateful for all of my other mother examples around me.  I am pretty lucky to have some amazing mother friends and family in my life.

Park Day

We went and checked out the park around the corner.  Julia absolutely loved it!!

I love how its sand and blue foam instead of brown sticks.  Major plus.  We have been going here at least once a week.  Theres also a huge grass area and a track for working out on.  There is usually not many people there.

I know I probably have a billion "cute pigtails" posts.  But she is so cute in them and I love to share.  It usually only occurs on Sundays because I am not willing to make her cry while pulling her hair into them like Riley is.  He is so patient with her and does such a great job!!

I DONT KNOW WHY ALL OF OUR EYES ARE SO WEIRD LOOKING :-)

Poncho!!

Here is Julia modeling the Poncho that Aunt Michelle gave us from my baby shower last weekend.  It is super cute.  Julia couldn't figure out what to do with her hands.

Chocolate Donuts - basically anything from the bakery

....maybe I should make this my list of No-Nos while losing weight after the baby.

You're Invited to Kristen Plumb's Baby "Craft and Diaper" Shower Party

Such a Fun Shower put on by my amazing sister Debbie!! It was great to see so many family and friends!!

CRAFTING!!!  We made headband flowers, popsicle stick puzzles and painted A-Z wooden letters for my baby's room.

THE DIAPER RAFFLE TABLE (beforehand) - I think I scored over 1000 diapers and 1000 wipes!!!  Exactly what I needed!!  Thanks everyone!!
