My 25th Birthday

And what  a crazy day it was .....

First off I start off the morning with a call from Riley that Julia locked herself in the car at the car wash. Riley was being a stud and letting me sleep in and washing the car while Julia was playing inside the car with the keys in listening to music.  It is very hard to explain to a two year old how to unlock the door without freaking them out too much.  So I took Kate (pre-fed) over to the car wash to open the door and back home.

I then get to go to Kohls, the bank, the postal office, and the grocery store all by myself.  What a treat!  I had a $10 gift card to Kohls which made it even more fun - I got a shirt and some jean capris.  Then when I went to the grocery store I got a 20% off coupon for Sports Authority - what are the odds - I was planning on going there next later in the day.  So after the grocery store I head home to feed my baby.

Then I am all excited to head back out again and get in the corolla in our tiny little garage and I totally hit the side of the side mirror pulling out!  It was terrifying.  But Riley saved the day and punched the wood back into place and washed the mirror and used touch up paint to make it black again.  Once again a stud. Its totally unlike me to do this.

And then I was off to Sports Authority to find shoes.  Im a little frazzled by the accident.  I find some great Nikes and I love how light they are. Using my 20% off coupon I save $20 dollars - so I am pretty stoked. (But I ended up returning them on Monday because I really didnt like the material pushing into my ankle - and I got some asics instead - but thats a whole other story)

Then Im off to Papa Johns for some pizza which I already ordered ahead for.  I get there and the pizza wasn't even ready.  I was pretty upset because I had a baby at home waiting for me.  But I just sat there and didn't feel like complaining to the management, after working at Little Caesars I didn't want to cause trouble.  But if you ever have a customer service problem, you can always get free stuff no matter where you are - especially if you have a husband who will do the talking :-)

So I went on home and had the best birthday dinner ever with my pizza.  Then my family sang to me with a donut and a 2 & 5 candle.

It was definitely a birthday to remember.

Also to note, please forgive me for any editing and grammar errors.  This isn't a college essay.
